February Glossybox 2017

It’s the month of L O V E with our February Glossybox! Glossy pimped the box out in preparation for Valentines Day and it looked a treat.  We don’t really celebrate Valentines Day in our house so this could count as my giftie.  Let’s get stuck in!

To start the love fest off we have the L’Eau de Rose perfume by Jeanne Arthes.  The delicate pink colour is a nice touch which made love this even more! The scent is of course rose, rose and more rose.  It has that whimsical floral scent that not everyone will like but it’s one of my favourites.  Coming into the Spring months this will be a fab go to perfume.  This product was full size and would normally cost £20.

I was pretty disappointed to find the sample hair mask by Garnier.  The Ultimate Blends Honey treasures Strength Restorer Balm is something I have tried and I did not rate this product very much.  My hair is thirsty and this had no thirst quenching powers. Sorry.

Back to the positives! I am obsessed with the face mask by La Theorie Des Volcans!  Full size and full power face scrub/face mask.  The more vegan and organic products we get in our boxes the more I a changing my habits.  My skin has changed recently and I’m finding products like this help me.  The Noir Eternal Youth Potion Face Scrub works into the pores to rid you of impurities and dead skin cells; yes! At £26, yes, it is a little steep, however, it is so worth a purchase.

Nail polish, yay! I so love receiving this kind of product in my Glossybox.  Ciate do amazing colours and have long lasting power compared so some other high end nail polishes.  The colour was Iced Frappe and it’s a gorgeous nudey shade which will match all skin tones. I have the dreaded Scottish blue skin tone and this makes my hands look alive. Love it!

Finally, we had a liquid highlighter.  I am still obsessed with my Becca x Jaclyn Hill Champagne Pop but this is a nice little highlight for under the make up to give you a more alive look at 7am on a Monday morning.  The only problem, I had was the packaging looked cheap so I was shocked to see the price was £7.25. Overall this product is ok which is why I probably won’t buy it in the future.

This box was hit and miss this month, sadly. Let’s hope next month is a total winner!

Kirsty 🙂
