Ho ho ho! The Christmas Glossybox is finally here 🙂 I have thoroughly enjoyed my monthly treats which have come my way. A subscription to Glossybox for a friend or family member would be an amazing gift that just keeps giving. I don’t know what I would do without my box now! As someone new to the blogger community it has been so much fun to write reviews on the products. Before I started my blog I had been subscribed and only filling in the online form at the end of the month. I’ve loved reading what everyone else had in their boxes and seeing how we all felt about products.
For the last time in 2016, here is what I got this month in my festive Glossybox 🙂
I was on holiday when the email came in for us to pick a shade of lipstick by MDMflow and I was hoping I would get the nudey shade. However I recieved the vampy purple shade Spice and I am so happy with it. The colour actually suits me, I hope, and lasts a long time. Such a festive shade for party season and I very happy with this pick Glossybox!
The next item works perfectly with the above item. Lipcote ensures the colour goes nowhere and I mean nowhere! I had to use some elbow grease to remove this so I know when I am out for a few cheeky cocktails my lipstick will stay in place. I have used this on a softer nudey lipstick and it worked wonders. I have always seen items like this and wondered if they would work but never bought it. Wish I had bought this a long time ago.
The Revlon nail varnish is, as always, a perfect addition to a Glossybox. I had the shade Valentine which I love on my toes. It’s a little vampy deep red shade. I love the smaller applicator and the formula, plus, it doesn’t chip!
The Essence Light Up Your Face shimmer palette was a a little disappointing. I didn’t feel there was much colour pay off to this product and have barely touched it since getting it. However, once you have fallen in love with the Jaclyn Hill x Becca highlighter it is hard to like anything else! After looking through other blogs I have found people are using the product as eye shadow so I need to give this a go.
Lastly, the Collection Define & Perfect Eyebrow Powder was a surprise for me. I use a NYX pencil for my eyebrows and Benefit Gimme Brow. I think this would be great for a day when I wearing less make up, like a Sunday, and just define my brows slightly. When I first opened this product I was concerned the powder would go everywhere but thankfully that was not the case. Give it a try!
Thank you so much for checking out my blogs this year. I have had the best time getting to know my blog and others especially through our Glossybox reviews. I hope you have a lovely Christmas!
