Bob Bob Ricard – Soho

One of the perks of living in London has to be being around some pretty awesome restaurants and it would be rude not to try them! My hubby and I have been dying to try Bob Bob Ricard for some time now so were thrilled to get a table on a Saturday night in the infamous Red Room. The eccentric art deco feel is amazing and the fusion of food works perfectly.  The English and Russian cuisine works beautifully with lots of tempting treats on offer! Have a look at what we got up to and what we had 🙂

I was happy to get ready for date night! I had fun doing my hair and makeup too.

When we arrived I was most excited to use the button below 🙂

We of course took full advantage of this.  We ordered a delicious bottle of Perrier-Jouet and when we needed a top up we pressed, pressed, pressed! The staff were so sweet and were on hand to help with any queries we had and tips of what to try.

To start, I had some delicious Queen olives which Jon had to tuck into too! Jon opted for the crab salad with chilli and avocado. I’m new to eating fish and still don’t like the taste of crab but I’m slowly getting there.

Jon convinced me to have a shot of Russian Standard Imperia Vodka. This was a fun treat. The vodka is served at -18 degrees. Brr! It tasted like vodka but minus the usual burn. Great way to start the night!

The chicken kiev is another reason why I wanted to come to Bob Bob’s. It’s named as the best kiev in London and isn’t it beautiful?! We opted for french fries and minted peas which I loved with this dish.  The taste was worth the wait for me!

Jon went for the lobster burger with crayfish cocktail. It looked so good and tasted delicious again.

There’s always room for dessert! I had the dulche de leche creme brûlée.  Yummy! The orange worked so well with this. As always, Jon had the chocolate fondant. Sadly the creme anglais was flavoured with mint and was a little overpowering however the fondant was perfect!

Let me know if you have been and what you enjoyed 🙂
