All About Jaclyn

Since September 2013 I have been absolutely obsessed with my Queen and Saviour Jaclyn Hill.  I can remember vividly going from make up tutorial to make up tutorial and stopping on Jaclyn’s page. After one tutorial I was hooked and pretty much watched every video ever made! There is something so likeable about her when you first start watching. It’s as if you have been friends for a long time and as time goes by you pretty much are. The inside jokes, her hubby and gorgeous puppies.  Plus you learn how to actually use make up!

This beautiful lady is not only a talented make up artist but also a business woman.  The boss lady is dominating the highlighting world with her magical powers and I have fallen victim!  Finally I am the proud owner of the Jaclyn and Becca baby, Champagne Pop.  This stunning highlighting powder works perfectly on my pale Scottish skin tone.  The sheen is so soft and buttery but not glittery.  So while I am pushing 30 I can still wear some shine 🙂

This is not the first Jaclyn product I have purchased.  Back when she collaborated with Gerard Cosmetics I bought Buttercup which is now no longer associated with JH.  The same goes for Butter Cream lip gloss which I also bought.  Both were gorgeous colours however after an hour or so the damage was done to my lips.  They were always left chapped and red which was so sad after paying top price for them and shipping to the UK.  This incident with GC made me lose confidence in them but not Jaclyn.  I’m sure she learned from this experience and wouldn’t let it happen again.

As fans we can choose to purchase products that are discussed or made by our favourite YouTubers.  We are in no way forced to.  To the haters, if I’m wearing rose tinted glasses I really don’t care because Jaclyn is awesome and I am so excited to see what she has to come next 🙂 You go girl!

Thanks for reading guys
